I think the problem with a lot of these is that they look like the sorts of things that come in multi-packs. Obviously, if you picked this bag up off the shelf, you would immediately put it down and pick up another one with more candy inside. But if it’s just a bunch of packages inside a box, you don’t know until after you’ve bought it that at least one of them is basically empty.

I do have to point out, though, that the package doesn’t say “peppermint candies”; it says “peppermint candy,” and that’s exactly what they delivered. I can see Brach’s is big on truth in advertising.
