Beware Of Rhubarb Leaves
Some foods are not made for human consumption in their raw form, and others have to get cooked so they are not dangerous for human consumption. This includes the likes of eggplants.
Another one that we do not typically consider is the rhubarb plant. That’s right, the stuff your grandmother makes pies from. It is a real plant, and specifically, rhubarb leaves can prove poisonous to humans. The leaves on the plant – when consumed raw, contain oxalic acid, which is not great for humans, to say the least. The good news is you would have to eat a heck of a lot of raw rhubarb leaves to feel the effects.
