#2: Sbarro
Sbarro is a New York-style pizza place that specializes in pizzas by the slice, breadsticks, pasta, and other Italian foods. It’s been around since the ’50s (can you believe it?), and you can still find locations in dying malls nationwide. But the pizza place has been in steep decline. In 2011 and 2014, Sbarro filed for bankruptcy.

Many think they deserve it. In most locations, the pizza is never fresh, the pasta sauce looks like a sludge monster, and the breadsticks are stiff as cardboard. New Yorkers and the Americans at large think Sbarro is a joke. But if you can find the correct location or get it at the right time, it can be decent!
