This reminds us of the saying, “If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?” Basically, the OP had booked themselves a suite in a fancy hotel and wanted to show off in front of other guests while going up in the elevator.
Unfortunately, there wasn’t anyone else present there at the same time so they had to have a lonely ride to the top. Oh boo hoo, what a heartbreaking experience to not be able to watch the expressions on the faces of the commoners. Well, it didn’t stop them from posting about it online though so it’s all good.
