Too Smart to Enjoy the Show
There’s a reason why people say “Ignorance is bliss.” Just ask this OP who is apparently so well educated that they can’t be fooled by scientific mumbo jumbo in TV shows and movies. As you can imagine, this frequently ruins the story for them. What an absolute bummer!
This is probably what most doctors and nurses feel like too when they watch medical dramas, huh? We guess the key is to remember that television and movies are supposed to be make-believe and you can’t expect them to be completely true to life. What fun would that be? So, just go with the flow and cut them some slack.
