Two fake springs before actual spring
If we didn’t tell you yet, you should know that Finland’s weather is unpredictable. The sun could shine and the weather could break, but before you know it, the sky will drop another ten feet of snow on you overnight. That is what’s known as the mini-spring or fool’s spring.
After several more weeks of blizzards and slippery roads, you’re hit with another deceiving break in the weather. This second mini-spring is called the spring of deception. Only after you’re knee-deep in loska can you hope to enjoy the country’s actual spring, which, according to reports from the Finnish natives, last anywhere from two to six hours.
