Even during the early morning when the sun is out, you should never let your guard down. And most of all, if you have a feeling of dread in the pit of your stomach, listen to it before acting. By doing so, it helped the OP escape a knife-wielding maniac!
While walking back home from a part at 6 AM, a horrible feeling suddenly washed over her. She took her heels off and stopped for a moment to check her surroundings, only to see some crazy guy pop out of the hedges. Thankfully, she was one house away from her home. After locking herself in her home, she looked out the window to find the guy walking past two seconds later with a knife in hand.
