Fire and electricity
Being a firefighter involves putting yourself at the heart of dangerous situations. However, we’re not exactly sure how often electricity can become the most dangerous thing in their line of work. It turns it that it’s a lot more common than we realized.
While fighting a huge house fire, the OP’s gut told him to get out of the way of power lines. The crew leader took one look and said that everything would be fine. Well, while preparing to set up their equipment, the OP saw that the power lines were swaying violently in the air. He and everyone else dives away at his instructions and not a moment too soon. The power lines were still connected, and if they stayed in place, all three of them would’ve been electrocuted to death.
