Even though you think you know your car inside out, there’s no way to know whether a nut or bolt has fallen off or become loose. Cars come with all sorts of safety features, which you should use at all times. Your seatbelt is the simplest yet safest thing to rely on during accidents.

While driving down the road, this person had an inexplicable feeling of dread in their stomach. They didn’t usually wear the shoulder belt, but this time, they felt they had to. As time went on, they realized that the car was drifting to the side. After overcorrecting the problem, the vehicle slammed head-on into a telephone pole. It turns out that one of the steering column’s bolts was sheered off.
