The Double Down was a completely unique invention that appeared in KFC in the early 2010s. I guess it was supposed to be some sort of fried chicken lover’s dream. While it may not have been a great revenue generator, it must have been a crowd favorite because the chain even brought it back for a limited release in 2023.
