Stores for Your Dog?
In many other parts of the world, dogs aren’t taken in as pets. They tend to roam free and in the streets of many cities rather than in the comfort of someone’s living room. Only in a few countries do dogs receive such treatment. In these countries, dogs among other pets, have designated stores for their owners to shop at for treats, bedding, toys, grooming treatments, and specialized food.
A U.S. resident had their cousin from Nigeria come to stay with them. Their cousin was culture shocked to learn that Americans had entire stores and products just for their pets. They claimed that in Nigeria, dogs run wild. In some places in the world, it might not be considered culturally appropriate for a dog to live such a luxurious lifestyle.
