#12: Kirkjufell – Iceland
You don’t have to be a Game of Thrones expert to recognize Kirkjufell. This cone-shaped mountain became the famous Arrowhead Mountain during the show’s final seasons as Jon Snow and his companions searched for proof of the White Walkers. Located on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, Kirkjufell rises about 1,519 feet beside the sea and attracts photographers from around the world. It’s open year-round, and nearby walking paths make it easy to admire one of Iceland’s best-known natural landmarks.
