Rocking Chairs Are Everywhere
If there’s one thing you’re guaranteed to see in Cuba, it’s rocking chairs. You know those chairs that people sit on and rock and forth? That’s right, the exact same chair that your grandmother sits on while knitting you Christmas sweaters. Yeah, you’re going to see rocking chairs everywhere.
And you don’t even have to visit anyone’s home to see them. Rocking chairs are pretty much on every porch, in every living room, and there are even public rocking chairs. Rocking chairs to Cubans are like sofas to us in the States. Every person who lives in a home or apartment has a rocking chair. It might be a law, as far as we know.
