Fascist Spain and Microsoft
The was a time Spain was governed by a fascist dictator called Franco who was part of the nationalist movement sweeping through Europe bringing to power Mussolini to Italy and Hitler in Germany. From October 1936 to his death in November 1975, Francisco Franco ruled Spain with an iron fist. On the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, in April 1975, Bill Gates and Paul Allen started a company called Microsoft in America.
The contrast between how these two countries developed in the same year is quite strong. It was then that the simultaneous events gave ‘em permanent place in the history of revolution both in technology and civil.
