The Battle of Crecy and Chinese Guns
Many of us think of weapon production as a reasonably straightforward timeline, but the fact is that it’s mostly not the case. The first recorded bronze gun that used gunpowder originated from the early Yuan dynasty and was dated back to 1332.
The Battle of Crecy saw the English French war, and the battle ended in 1346. This combat was considered to be innovative in the use of a crossbow, which was a relatively modern weapon in the 14th century.
