Pizza is the perfect dish: hearty, tasty, easy to eat with your hands, and feed a crowd with it. It’s the best sort of indulgence: satisfying but cheap. So it does not surprise me to hear that you could measure the pizza served in the US each year in acres. It just makes me proud to be an American: united in our love of the best of all the foods.
