Here is a handy dandy guide for dealing with people who don’t speak your language: there is pretty much never a reason to berate them for this fact, even if they are currently in a predominantly English-speaking country. After all, English speakers probably wouldn’t like it if they went to the Netherlands and people berated them for not speaking Dutch.

This advice takes on a special significance with this image, where the person being told to speak English is actually already speaking English. Just because they’re speaking it with a Yorkshire accent doesn’t mean it’s not proper English, even if the Yorkshire accent gets pretty crazy sometimes.
