#33: Womb, Tomb, Bomb

This person makes a good point, but we’ve already seen enough to know that we shouldn’t try to find logic in the English language. Sure, in a parallel universe where English made sense, “bomb” would be pronounced the same as “womb” and “tomb,” as in “boom.” But “bomb” and “boom” are two different words with different pronunciations.
