#14: You Say Potato…
Okay, this is just wild. Someone decided to come up with the most insane way possible to spell “potato” while following spelling rules. Miraculously, they were able to do it! As you read through the list, you’ll see that they chose the most obscure words that include letters with the same sounds in the word “potato.” What they get at the end is pretty extreme.
After combining all these different parts of different words, they come up with a 20-letter word that is (supposedly) pronounced “potato.” While we appreciate the creativity, we have a feeling this won’t catch on with English speakers anywhere. Even though spelling rules technically don’t work like this and this person’s creation isn’t a word, it’s still an interesting thing to think about.
