42. Don’t forget the napkin
We’re back to table manners, and this time, the napkin. We usually only use the napkin to clean our mouths at the end of a meal, or we forget to use it altogether. However, napkins have another purpose, that dates back centuries, and is meant to make our lives easier. The proper way to use a napkin is to spread it on our lap as soon as we sit down at the table.
This will not only impress our dinner companions and show everyone around that we’re all caught up on our table manners, it will also protect our clothes, which often absorb crumbs and food stains.
