10. Getting over a hangover
We’ve all been there: getting up after a night out with friends with a hangover that won’t let us start our day right. What most of us do in these situations is grab an aspirin, like we do when we have a headache. However, in both cases, the best medicine isn’t found in the medicine cabinet.
Hangover symptoms are highly associated with dehydration, and so during these times, what our body needs more than anything else is water. That’s why it’s important to stay hydrated while drinking alcohol, and if we forgot about this rule since we were having too much fun, the next morning, instead of reaching for the medicine cabinet, reach for a glass of water.
