47. Using resistance bands
Resistance bands have gained popularity in the fitness department during the past couple of years, and they’ve become an inseparable part of our workouts. However, there is a misconception surrounding them, that most of you probably weren’t aware of. While most of us think resistance bands can be used to build muscle, that’s not entirely correct.
While they certainly do no harm, they aren’t very helpful either, at least not on their own. You won’t gain muscle by using resistance bands alone – they are good for toning muscle, but not for the building part. If you’re looking to get ripped, it’s best to combine the resistance bands in any other kind of weight training.
