34. Applying mascara
Not all of us were blessed with long, thick eyelashes, and there’s no shame in using some mascara before we go out. Those of us who use it on a regular basis know that mascara tends to get clumpy, and the last thing we want is to have black clumps of mascara on our eyelashes.
What we often do to get rid of the clumps is dip the brush several time inside the container, and that’s our mistake. Instead of getting rid of the clumps, it has the opposite result. Dipping the brush in and out of the container is forcing air into the bottle, which in the long run makes the mascara dry out quickly, creating even more clumps inside the bottle.
