25. Baby sleeping habits
Taking care of babies, like anything else in life, takes practice. As new parents, most of us makes these small mistakes we aren’t even aware of, but there’s nothing to feel ashamed about – it’s all a matter of practice. Some parents attempt to keep the baby awake and active during the day, thinking it would provide him with a better, longer slumber during the night.
However, according to experts, this logic is flawed. Keeping the baby up all day doesn’t mean they will sleep better during the night, on the contrary – an overtired baby has a hard time going to bed as much as a baby who slept too much during the day. That’s where sleep scheduling enters the picture: find an individual sleep schedule that fits your baby.
