#21: Old Changi Hospital – Singapore
Old Changi Hospital first opened in 1935 as a British military facility. Its darkest hours came during World War II, when Japanese forces took it over and used it as a holding area for prisoners of war. That period of intense wartime suffering became the foundation for its haunted reputation. After the war, it served as an RAF hospital before finally closing for good in 1997. The abandoned buildings quickly became one of Singapore’s most famous spooky spots, featured in local TV series and attracting ghost hunters.
