#19: Driving Too Slowly Can Be Just as Problematic
Speed limits tell us how fast we may drive, but they are not the only speed-related rules on the road. Many jurisdictions also prohibit traveling so slowly that a vehicle unnecessarily impedes normal traffic, and some highways post minimum speeds for that reason. This does not mean a nervous driver should race to match someone speeding behind them. Weather, visibility, construction, heavy traffic, towing, and road conditions can all justify going well below the posted maximum.
