Boutonnière are those decorative flower pieces that you find in tuxedo pockets. They can cost quite a bit. In fact, anything flower-related, especially wedding decorations, can be outrageously overpriced. But you can make your very own boutonnière using nothing but a wire hanger and flowers from your garden.
It can take some time to nail the design of the flower. However, with practice, you can make five boutonnières in under an hour. Make sure to use green tape to cover the wire and produce a natural-looking stem. Use as many flowers as you like. The more flowers there are, the more festive the boutonnière!
