One question that has been on our minds is whether or not pork belly is beneficial to our health. Don’t laugh; it’s a legitimate problem, particularly for those who enjoy grilled pork belly. Fortunately, around 50% of the fat in pork belly is the same heart-healthy fat that the “Mediterranean Diet” provides.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, we can all go about our business and purchase some pork belly from the market, just like the ones in the photo. The only issue is that this isn’t actual pork flesh. They are, in fact, pig stones. They’d make a great paperweight, we’re sure.
