#10: Colgate Kitchen Entrees (1964, 1980s)
This one sent me down a rabbit hole! The Museum of Failure has reported that in the 1980s, Colgate tried to make a series of frozen dinners, including lasagna. This was a failure due to an apparent reason: the power of branding. When people think of Colgate, they think of toothpaste. And when they see Colgate Lasagna, they may imagine the sauce tasting like mint. Ick! It can be the best-tasting TV dinner lasagna in the world, but that name is going to raise some eyebrows.

Many are skeptical that this existed at all, though the Museum of Failure claims it did, and Colgate was too embarrassed to send them an actual box. What we do know for sure is that in 1964, Colgate did test some frozen dinners, including chicken and crab meat. Yum!
