#3: McDonald’s Bagel Sandwiches (1999-2020, Nationwide Return in 2025)

A bagel sandwich is filling and gives you more room to stuff it with meats and cheeses than a biscuit. In 1999, McDonald’s introduced bagel sandwiches, and one item included steak, egg, and cheese. And also grilled onions; can’t forget those. It was as if a New Yorker and a Philadelphian bumped into each other.

This item was sadly discontinued in 2020, but they realized their mistake just a couple of years later and brought it back—for a limited time and in select stores. They did the same in 2024. But in 2025, their bagel sandwiches, which included steak, egg, and cheese, returned!
