Waving High
Here’s another pretty poor excuse for giving a student detention. I’m sure if they wanted to “direct air traffic,” they’d do something more than simply wave rulers. If I were the parent, I would’ve spoken to the principal because it seems rather unnecessary to give detention for misbehaving in this way.
Perhaps the teacher just didn’t really like this student, and they were looking for any way that they could punish them. Yes, believe it or not, teachers are human, and they do hold grudges against their students. However, they may not always be obvious about it. You better watch out!
