A Youngster Was Captured Destroying A Sand Statue At A Well Known Hotel

June 4, 2020 by Elizabeth Grillo

An American Tourist In Florence Was Responsible For Damaging A Work Of Art

Also in 2013, a visitor from the United States to Florence, Italy, was found guilty of damaging a work of art. The 55-year-old American man managed to break the finger off the 15th-century Giovanni Ambrogio-sculpted Virgin Mary statue at the Museo dell’Opera del Duomo. Another way of saying it is that this statue is priceless.

He decided to give Mary a high-five while admiring the monument in order to show off to the kids back in his hometown. When it comes to fixing a finger, we have no idea how much it will cost.
