We believe this to be the world’s oldest tourist-damaged artifact. In the 3,500-year-old Luxor Temple, you’ll find a collection of remarkable artifacts. A 15-year-old Chinese boy at the Luxor Temple saw a statue of an ancient Egyptian guy with a spear and decided he, too, wanted to be remembered.

He noted in Chinese that Ding Jinhao had been present. When another Chinese passenger discovered it, it was too late. It was too late to undo the harm. In the end, he was able to create history, but in a different manner than he had anticipated.
