25 Old Phrases We Don’t Hear As Much Anymore, and It’s a Real Shame

Not far is the day when people will know that there was a movie titled The Whole Nine Yards (a 2000 flick starring Bruce Willis and Matthew Perry) but will be completely unaware that it was named after a preexisting phrase in American English. I suppose it’s fitting, considering the phrase originated in pop culture in the first place.
