#24: Conservation
Many tourists experience culture shock when they visit the United States. The U.S. is very different from most other parts of the world in many ways. In a sense, it hasn’t experienced the hardships that have shaped countries for centuries. The government is slowly learning from other countries how to adopt sustainable practices and reduce waste.
Many countries have water conservation practices due to the limited amount of water that can be used. The U.S. isn’t quite up to date, as many Americans have never entirely gone “without” anything. While the amount of water and food products wasted is high, they can learn new ways from countries with efficient, sustainable practices.
