The Majestic Butterfly
The best part about this coverup job is that the old tattoo pretty much set the basis for the new one. The heart was salvageable, so the artist just added a butterfly to cover Will’s name, which, might we add, looks like it was tattooed on by someone with less than a day’s worth of tattooing experience.
All they had to do was add a border to the heart, put in some color, then draw a simple butterfly on the side. The best part was that this guy probably charged $50 for a two-hour job with both the buyer and the seller wound up happy.
