What about Dan?
Even though Dan agreed with Wendy’s decision – since they were very different from one another – it didn’t mean he was happy about the breakup. On the contrary – he didn’t want their relationship to end, but he knew it was for the best. He wasn’t ready to change his young, party spirit, and so he respected Wendy’s decision.
Dan missed Wendy and, just as in the beginning, he started messaging her every day for the eighteen months they were apart. His only hope was to show Wendy throughout this time how much he had matured and grew as a person, so one day, perhaps, they could get back together, this time giving the best versions of themselves.
