Things had drastically changed for the couple; Wendy’s insecurities dragged them to constant fights and Dan’s immaturity and childish behavior were not helping. Wendy knew she could no longer be in that relationship that was hurting them both.
With mixed feelings, she knew in her heart the right thing was for them to break up; they were no longer happy together, they wanted different things in life, and it was time for them to move on. She had grown in the past few years more than she realized, and at the end of the day, she felt as if she had higher aspirations than Dan.
