Once she opened that box, Wendy couldn’t stop herself from going over all of Dan’s private messages, finding out about the people he was chatting with. She simply couldn’t contain her curiosity – it’s hard to judge, we’d probably do the same!
What she found out wasn’t much of a reassurance – Dan was indeed speaking with other girls, as she had suspected. Although she didn’t find any compromising messages, she couldn’t help but compare herself to his other friends. Most of them were very successful, which made her doubt herself and her accomplishments.
