Facebook at the time was popular among college students who wanted to meet new people. With this purpose in mind, Dan started to use the platform and soon enough he came across Daphne’s profile, who he sent a message to but did not get a reply.
Later on, he looked into Daphne’s friend list and saw Wendy, who instantly caught his attention. Dan felt he couldn’t miss the chance to talk to her, so he messaged her too, amazed by her beauty. Wendy, however, as a newbie in social media, did not trust a stranger talking to her and decided not to reply. Instead, she told Daphne about Dan’s message, to which she answered: “He texted me too.”
