Did he really change?
When Wendy saw Dan, she started to wonder if he had indeed changed. Was he still the same party guy he was when they first met? Was he as mature as he seemed? Would it work this time? She needed these questions answered before she would feel comfortable about getting back together with Dan.
During the time they were apart, Dan did nothing but try to prove to her that he was ready to change and commit to her. In fact, during this time away from each other, he had not dated anybody; the only person in his mind was Wendy. So, she decided to give him one chance.
