Things were not the same
Once she started comparing herself to other women, her relationship with Dan took a turn for the worst; she started to feel insecure about herself, and her confidence was getting lower and lower as time passed. Her relationship with Dan was not the same, as arguments were starting to become routine.
Wendy believed Dan should spend more time with her at home, instead of going to party alone. Dan, on the other hand, believed that Wendy should spend less time with her homework and more time socializing. The arguments started to get more intense and Dan started to spend more time outside the home, where he was just having fun. While Dan was out partying, Wendy had this constant fear about him spending time with other girls. They knew from the beginning their lifestyle was different, but they never expected it to pose a problem.
