The Customer Is Always…
This person admits that when they were a server they threw a customer’s phone into a trash compactor. That’s a not-so-minor move. Maybe this customer was being a jerk, and they deserved it. Those of us who’ve worked in the restaurant industry understand that the customer isn’t always right. Despite what your boss would tell you.
Especially if you work in a metropolitan area like Los Angeles, you’ll run into some picky, high maintenance people. Folks that belittle and demean servers. That’s why everyone who enters the workforce should spend some time in customer service. Six months would do. Just to get the full experience and understand what it’s like to serve difficult people.
