We’ve all done them – small, seemingly innocuous wrongdoings that, in the grand scheme of things, may seem insignificant. Of course, that all depends on your perspective. Perhaps you told a white lie or taken mini shampoo/conditioner bottles from your hotel room. Who hasn’t done that? Especially when we’re young, we tend to do things we might regret later in life. As long as we don’t hurt anybody, we should get a second chance at a clear conscience, right? We’re all human, after all, and it’s in our nature to err. The folks below wanted to clear their conscience, and so they took to social media (where else) to share their past missteps, with some ranging from amusing to questionable. If you ask us, most of these missteps are excusable – but you can be the judge of that.
Golf Bag Swipe
This person decided to snag a bag of golf clubs. They were dropping off clothing at Goodwill when they noticed said bag at the curb. All alone, completely unattended. Unaccounted for. So, they pounced. Seize the golf course, right? The original owner was finished with them, anyway. Now all this person needs are a pack of golf balls.
Sure, they didn’t go through the process of paying for the golf clubs while inside Goodwill. They essentially stole money from the store. They robbed an actual paying customer of a nice set of golf gear. But, in the long run, this doesn’t really harm anyone. Well, except one’s moral compass.
