World Stone Skimming Championship
Not unlike the Rock, Paper, Scissors League, the World Stone Skimming Championship is another fun tournament. After all, rock skimming is pretty fun. Once again, we thought this was something people do just for fun, but I guess everything can be turned into a competition. If you’re that good at it, why not?
Held in Scotland every year, this is another competition that started out as a joke between two friends and became an organized, local event. Skimmers from different countries, as well as thousands of spectators, attend the popular annual event. The really good skimmers even have a chance to be included in the Guinness Book of World Records.
