#9: Andy Warhol
For those who didn’t know, Andy Warhol started his career working in fashion advertising. During the 1950s, he created The Broadway Shoe Drawings, a series of ink illustrations with blotted lines. Months before his sudden death in 1986, he created Camouflage Self-Portrait. In the middle of both masterpieces, he turned everyday soup cans into high art.
