Airline loopholes
Airline companies have to compensate passengers for canceled flights or extensive delays due to technical errors. This can include renting a motel for the unfortunate passengers, which can cost a pretty penny for the airline company. But there’s a loophole in the system. You’ve probably experienced it if you’re a frequent flier.
Instead of admitting technical difficulties, the airline company will report bad weather as the reason for delaying a flight. Even if a single cloud is in the sky, it could be a good enough reason for the company to blame the weather. Because the problem is out of their hands, the company doesn’t have to compensate its passengers. Fun, right?
