Unlike many of the companies we’ve talked about here, JCPenney really doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. It’s possible that I’m just deluding myself because I don’t want to acknowledge the inevitable, but with 656 stores, even if they do close them all, it will take a while.
