Here’s a scary fact for you – dying in your sleep is far more common than most people believe. In fact, 1 out of every 8 Americans will end up dying in their sleep, which can be caused by a multitude of factors. This can be because of heart problems or because of illegal substances.
However, the most frequent cause of people dying in their sleep is sleep apnea, which affects approximately 42 million people in America. Those are some scary facts! I wonder how many of these people learned about it the next morning. My guess is that it was likely very few – they were dead, after all!
