Honestly, I’m pretty surprised that anybody could be as dumb as this witness – you just answered the question, how could you get it so wrong the second time?! This attorney would’ve had a field day proving that this is an unreliable witness. It’s not like it would’ve been particularly hard to do!
Unfortunately, there are no statistics around to show how frequently parents forget their kid’s ages, as I’m sure that no parent wants to admit to doing it! However, one thing that is common is getting your kid’s name wrong, which we’ve proven above. It’s just evidence of strong parental love!
